About this image

My RMS and UFO video meteor (mono) cameras recorded various aspects of the auroral display. I feel that they give good representations of auroral activity because some observers don't perceive the colours recorded by DSLRs and smartphones unless the aurora is above a brightness threshold.

I can't tilt the camera any lower because of the awful pollution from streetlights and the particularly intense glare from business property lighting.

Let's hope that the 10th of the month becomes a reliable date for bright aurorae. :-)
