The Double Cluster through the Aurora

About this image

As the Aurora was being observed & imaged from several locations around the UK, I decided to see if I could image it myself, but when I looked the sky was clear so I decided to image the Double Cluster, and while doing so the sky turned a Pinky red colour so I decided to continue imaging the Double Cluster and this is the result.

This was a difficult image to process as I needed to remove any uneven background graduation, while retaining the Auroral colour.
