About this image

This is a couple of images of the Auroral corona visible from my garden stitched together. They were taken at 02.32 and 02.33 UT October 11 2024 (actually just 50 seconds between the images) The change of colour of the corona in that fairly short period of time is pretty amazing to me. If only my eyes had the same sensitivity to light as that of a modern camera.
