About this image

Images captured with Sharpcap, aligned, stacked and processed with Affinity Photo. I've never imaged this galaxy before and think it's an underrated gem! Visually it looks more like a star, but not only the bright and structured nucleus but the halo jump into view once the image stacking starts.
