About this image
Good afternoon,
The Sun is really putting on a good show for Solar observers.
Sunspots 3869 and 3873 have both produced X-class solar flares in the past few days. More X-flares are probably in the offing.
To quote Spaceweather.com
And you can see them in this image taken shortly after local noon. From Macclesfield.
I have managed to enhance the photosphere, to show granulation and faculae. And I used a Baader White light solar filter for this image taken with the SeesStar S50.
