About this image

Palomar 4 is the remotest of the fifteen Palomar globular clusters, lying 365,000ly from the Galactic Centre. It is also, unsurprisingly, one of the faintest at an integrated mag. of 14.2 with the brightest stars mag 18.0. It was discovered by Edwin Hubble in 1949.
