Narrowband image of the Lion Nebula taken over 2 night (21 and 23 October). The image is rendered in the SHO pallette. It is a rich HII emission nebula lit up by several hot stars including two Wolf-Rayet and contains some interesting dust lanes. Several of Lynds Dark Nebulae (LDN) are included in the region.
