About this image

A re-working of the original synthetic spectrum posted in the BAA forum. This is done in sections so it's not quite so cluttered.

Wavelength calibration is also probably a bit better after a more detail comparison against reference Solar and Arcturus spectra.

A Type C with Strong Na emission and the vast majority of other lines are Fe (however many blended lines of Fe with other metals including Ca, Cr, Mg, Mn, Ti and V (+probably others).

Wavelength span is approx 430nm to 591nm.

Resolution of spectrum is approximately R=1100.

Fireball mag ~ -9  on 2024 10 09 : 23 42 16UT.
