This mag. 12.5 lenticular galaxy was discovered by Heinrich d'Arrest in August 1862.

NGC 399 mag. 13,5 lenticular galaxy, discovered by Lord Rosse in October 1874.

NGC 400 mag. 15.3 star, discovered by Robert Ball in December 1886.

NGC 401 mag. 15.4 star, also discovered by Robert Ball in December 1886.

NGC 402 mag. 15.5 star, discovered by Lord Rosse in October 1874.
