About this image

I created a synthetic L channel by combining all the filtered images to enhance the low surface brightness features of the galaxy.  Images calibrated and captured with SharpCap Pro, aligned, stacked and processed with Affinity Photo.  I had some difficulty getting a gradient-free image (I used GraXpert), but also obtaining a reasonable final colour image.  I tweaked it for ages to try and get a pleasing result, which I'm still not completely satisfied with.
