Orion and Canis Major from France

About this image

A compact camera view from our gite in SW France of Orion and the constellations surrounding it. The red glow on the horizon is from the warning lights on wind turbines in the distance. There are a lot of these in this part of France and they can rather impair the view of the night sky.
