About this image

Yet another observation of the phase of Venus. I am trying to improve my approach. Firstly I have included a new x2 Barlow lens to up the magnification to 147x but I have also created 11 phase diagrams from 50% to 60% in steps of 1%. These diagrams I have on my phone so that I can compare them with the image seen in my telescope. Hopefully this will give a more reliable phase estimate. Tonight's estimate was between 56 and 57%. I noticed again that the northern cusp was more prominent than the southern one.
