About this image

The OM-D has a 4/3 sized sensor which has a x2 effect on full-frame lens focal length. The lens used here was therefore effectively 400mm. I coupled the lens to the camera with a very nice K and F adaptor. A fully manual system and you only have f2.8 (though the camera seems to think this is f2.7...). The camera was fixed to a standard Manfrotto tripod, I focussed using live view on the fold-out screen and worked the shutter button with a Mk. 1 finger tip!

The image was converted to greyscale, cropped and lightly tweaked in Corel Paint Shop Pro.
