About this image

This is a star trails shot looking to the south on 7-8 January 2025. I took 1,729 shots from 22:45 to 04:24 UT for a total of 5 hours, 39 minutes of star movement. I actually took a longer sequence but I put this one together without the Moon in the frame, as it doesn't look great in a star trails shot.
