About this image

A bit of a change, using the RC for imaging. A pain to get plate solving working and a far slower scope than the APO but wow that extra aperture makes up for it. Some slight annoying haze rather washed out some of this image, but the detail is evident.

Was messing around really and this was only a 250sec exposure. No post processing other than histogram stretch. Quite a few of the stars are saturated. So this highlights the issue with the larger aperture. Will intergrate with several shorter subs next time

M42 is a treat to image and equally amazing to observe visually
