About this image

This is a zoomed camera image of the full Moon with Mars in close conjunction above and right of the Moon. Conditions were not great as there was a lot of thin cloud and haze but Mars is visible in the image with the Moon rather over exposed. There was an occultation of Mars further south than us, in Africa and North America.
