Title

C/2024G3 from last night (2025 Jan 28.3 UT) from near Gisborne, New Zealand (rural sky). I had a tour group (I run Gisborne Astro Tours), so couldn't take too many photos. The clients were stoked to see it with both the naked eye and in binocs. The tail was about 8-9 degrees long through 8x56 Nikon binoculars. Hard to make an estimate of brightness as it's headless and I was pressed for time, but I'd say magnitude 3-4. Photo: 200mm Sigma lens, 1300D DSLR, 10 x 8 second, 1600 ISO, untracked (on a tripod).
