C/2024 G3 ATLAS on 2025 January 31. 11:10UT. (10:10AEDT) One final look at C/2024 G3 ATLAS before moonlight kills it. The naked eye tail length was 9 degrees. The comet is still easily visible from a dark site, estimating it of the 4th magnitude, similar surface brightness to the Small Magellanic Cloud to the south.
