First serious go at the night-side this apparition.

18x2 minute videos at f4.6 with my 444mm Dob. with PixelTeq 1020/38 in series with ZWO 850nm filter and Uranus-C camera. Used a gain of 300 and took 5x vids at 15msec expose and 13x vids at 25msec exposure. Stacked the best 90% for each video.

I processed all in AS4 and Regi and then picked best 6 results, stacking these in AS4 again and tweaking this stack further in Registax. Early ones were affected by 8 pixel pattern. Also with this low a signal it was annoying that the histogram function in Regi is 8bit adjustement settings whereas it is working on a 16bit image from AS4 so histo-stretch in Regi lacks adjustment finesse.

Final result shows some correlation with thermal map. Dark patch near terminator at bottom is strongest feature and this is not a permanent thermal feature.
