Albategnius and Ptolemaeus

About this image

24% of frames stacked in AS!4, sharpened in WaveSharp. Processed to crater floor of Albategnius. Taken during National Astronomy Week. Very good seeing, which I suspect was more down to telescope being well cooled / aclimitised. I'm coming round to think the local effects on seeing are the one thing we can influence and which do have a substantial impact on seeing conditions. Planning experiments to look into this.
