About this image

The Winter of 2025 has continued to be awful. Ideally, I would have liked to spend more time on this target, but I've had to work around the weather, dodging the clouds. I managed only 44 exposures of 120 seconds each using my new Optolong L-eNhance Tri-Band Deep Sky Imaging Filter, totalling just under 1.5 hours. I had hoped for at least 4-6 hours, but given the conditions, this will have to do for now. Hopefully, I'll get a clear night soon to add more data. Despite the weather, I'm quite happy with my first attempt at capturing the Rosette Nebula with my Redcat 51mm and new filter.

It has been a frustrating winter.. I've been setting up, even if it's just for an hour's worth of exposure!
