About this image

This is a prominence that was on the solar western limb on the 5th February, the animation starts at 1027 and ends 30 minutes later, when clouds stopped play. The mount was a Skywatcher solar quest alt-az and the tracking was not perfect. I've used IMPGG to align the frames but it hasn't completely overcome the jumps where I had to correct for a drifting ROI.

Brilliant capture. Well done. I've had similar issues with stabilising animated gif's, there must be a way to automate it better. Lovely capture.
