About this image
This is the first image of Jupiter I have taken with an ASI183MC colour camera I bought at Astrofest this year. With the small pixel size of this camera I am still experimenting to see if it works better with or without a Barlow lens with my Celestron 14. This was without a Barlow.

Evening!
I'm just curious as to what software you used to generate the picture.
Grant, I use Autostakkert! to stack the frames of three or four consecutive videos of 40s each, then AstroSurface to do wavelet sharpening on the resulting images. I 'measure' these in WinJupos and then use the 'derotate' function to produce one image. That image I then enlarge and sharpen slightly more in Photoshop, adjust colours and add the text. I now do all the capture and processing on a Mac, using a program called CrossOver to run Windows-only applications on the Mac. The process is similar to what I described in the 2023 October Journal.
