About this image

Collected over 10 nights from 9Jan - 18Feb 2024.

AstroPixelProcessor (APP) -stacking,  Pixinsight - AutoDBE, SPCC, (Pleiades Astrophoto), BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator, StarXTerminator (Russell Croman Astrophotography),  Lightroom, Photoshop (Adobe) -processing

The due to the faint nature of this nebula there was a problem with noise in the stacked image which delayed my final processing.  The latest version of NoiseXterminator allowed me to process the image to an acceptable quality.

The central star WISEA J072902.72+131448.6 (pale blue dot) is clearly visible.   This is an unusual star, referred to as a PG 1159 type and possesses a hydrogen-deficient atmosphere and is transitioning between the central star of a planetary nebula to being a hot white dwarf.
