About this image

Nice clear skies to look at Venus but the seeing was poor (the image was trembling continously). Venus is now quite a sizeable disc and the crescent phase clearly seen in binoculars. By making this drawing I estimated the phase to be 13% which is a bit of an overestimate compared to the prediction.
