About this image

This is a camera I had not tried before, lent to me by a friend. Using it I found it hard to get a satisfactory colour balance for Mars, and I still do not think it is right. There is little blue in the image.

Syrtis Major and the Hellas basin are the main features on view. The bright tone of the desert preceding (left) of Syrtis Major is a notable change from the 2022-23 aparrition.
