We had a recent run of clear nights and I exhausted my usual objects (various various nebulae, variable stars and asteroids for light curves) so after waiting for T CrB to rise on several nights I also collected images of Hoag's object - a 16th mag ring galaxy where the ring is a bit over half an arc minute across. The background is not as flat as I would have liked - its was over Salisbury, but its not a bad picture of it. Its worth looking up the HST pic online.
