Title

Mercury and Venus in Dayliight

About this image

A view of the two planets in daylight (shot about 11:35 UT) at the same magnification taken with a Celestron C9.25 with 2.5x PowerMate, 178M camera with a red fliter (No. 25). The scope was slewed from Venus to Mercury showing that the latter looks tilted due to its position in the sky with respect to the sun. Seeing was abysmal, but I was just able to pull enough frames to make the images presentable!

Video stacked in Lynkeos for Mac and processed in Affinity Photo 2.
