About this image

Hickson44 is a rather nice group of 4 main galaxies all different in topology from each other. The dust lane of the edge-on galaxy NGC 3190 is clearly visible and the distinctive S-shape of NGC 3187 adds to the menagerie. 

About 3.5 hours of integration time with LRGB filters has produced a reasonable result.
