Target name

Wolf-Rayet star EZ CMa + Sharpless 308 nebulosity

Title

Wolf-Rayet EZ CMa + nebulosity

About this image

Glimpse of the nebulosity emanating from the Wolf-Rayet star EZ CMa within the limitations of the Seestar. In the stretched negative its western edge can be discerned as an arc commencing from the bright star Omicron1 CMa to the south. Needless to say the full "Dolphin Head" would require much longer integration and a wider field of view. (Example - see Sky at Night Calendar - April)
