About this image

Lacus Somniorum and surroundings. Rima G. Bond stood out shimmering which attracted me to the region.

Fairly windy at the observing site but seeing better than average; bright day light. I have subsequently noticed there are a lot of dust bunnies, and I didn't take any flats. 60 seconds at 103fps, full chip; dropped the Gamma right down to improve the contrast in the bright daylight as an experiment. Best 20% of 6190 frames stacked and sharpened in AS!4 and curves adjusted in FastStoneImage Viewer.
