About this image

I had considered Thor's Helmet to be a target out of reach for me. One glance at the nearby shimmering star, Sirius, convinced me that the sky conditions at that low elevation were not very good for extended imaging. However, I thought I'd have a go and collected data over several nights at the end of March and early April.
