CaVa 1 is an ancient planetary nebula discovered by the French amateur astronomers Jean-Paul Cales and Michael Vanhuysse in April 2017. It was confirmed spectroscopically by Pascal  Le Dû on 31/10/2017at Kermerrien Observatoire, France  It has a size of 480 arcseconds.
The southern part exhibits a tenuous bow-shock structure produced by its interaction with the surrounding interstellar medium (ISM). Image captured on my robotic telescopes in Spain.
