About this image

First session using my new H-alpha telescope. The mount was unguided, with the Sun allowed to drift parallel to the long side of the sensor. 1000 of 2000 frames stacked in Autostakkert! and sharpened in Registax.

Excellent detail and contrast in the filaments and active regions from this instrument.
