About this image

I wanted to try imaging Markarian 478, an active galaxy so what we see if light from the accretion disc around the supermassive black hole. This image was taken under bright moonlight. I processed the image in Stellar Studio (Dwarf Lab), removing the gradient and bringing out fainter stars.

I set the Dwarf to image for 3 hours as it has a tiny 35mm lens. Impressively it only dropped a single frame, managing 160 exposures of 60 seconds.
