About this image

The Soap Bubble PNG75.5+1.7 a faint plantary nebula in the Cresent Nebula area.

A tough one to capture from my Bortle7 location I managed a modest

21 hours of total capture time over a couple of weeks. This region of the sky is rich

In Ha and Oiii signal and a good amount of Sii to boot.

Using my fantastic Askar 203 mounted on my Cem120 mount abs a full frame asi 6200mm camera

With 3nm SHO filters I combined the data to get my final image.

Not

Perfect by a long shot but happy to capture from my location  this nebula

Is a recent discovery and is seldom imaged.
