C/2024 G3 (ATLAS)

Title

It's farewell to the tail remnant of C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) from me, pretty much reached my limit with equipment and skills. Attached is what's probably my last image after following it for nearly 5 1/2 months since the comet disintegrated. It was taken on 27 June in excellent morning skies - the tail is the small, faint, ill-defined patch to the top-left of the marked ephemeris position, approximately where it was expected given post-orbital plane crossing trend. It is still show See more
