About this image

First NLC of this season. Sky noticably bright through tropo clouds. Clouds began to break around midnight local with NLC visible.

NLC appeared to recede from my perspective that is move northward and also move eastwards. This is quite unusual as the direction is normally the reverse with the NLC "blowing" outwards south and west on the mesospheric wind.
