About this image

48x30 arc minute field of view of the North America Nebula just north of the Cygnus Wall. This was just 1hr 50 mins of exposure (11x600s) so first step in a longer project.

Stars spectrophotometrically calibrated for true colour. Nebula HO-Foraxx pallet colour calibrated to maximise Ha and Oiii contrast.
