About this image

Reshuffling the set up with the SX694 attached to the RC.
Having sorted out alignment and back spacing this does seem to be well matched with minimum vignetting. So no field flattener needed - less weight

This was a good clear night and the fainter parts of this much imaged planetary nebular are nicely visible.

The scope is quite slow but the light grasp means that a short exposure provides a meaningful image. No flat (newely cleaned optical path), no dark- the SX has amazingly low dark current although there are few hot pixels if you look closely.
