The seeing was not great as the rising Sun was in a light hazy but I wanted to go out and try the new Moonlite focuser I had attached to the Solarmax. Over the next hour I was imaging and trying to find tune the etalon after reassembling the focuser unit. When it came to process the data I was surprised to see that I had captured this rapidly evolving prominence. I am particularly fascinated by the structures in the first one. Looks like a light bulb with filaments burning inside.
