About this image

The best meteor I managed to capture on the night of 9-10 August 2025 wasn't a Perseid, but rather a random one, known as a sporadic. I observed it visually too and it was bright, an intense yellow-orange colour and pretty slow (for a meteor). It also had several bright flares along the trail.
