About this image

A narrowband image presented in the less-often used SOH pallette which results in the H-α displaying in blue, which I find more appealing than green.

Image comprises some 360 5-minute sub-exposures with this CMOS camera, in contrast to the 30-minute subs I used to take with my old CCD model.

The stars are from a separately-acquired RGB image in order to present their true colours.

The date above is when imaging was completed. The imaging run took 2 weeks.
