IC5146 - With Sloane Photometric Filters G'R'I'

About this image

I ordered the new camera with a set of Sloane Photometric filters U G R I Z
Here I have used G R I filters only to create a simulated RGB image, after balancing the colour data, I then used an unfiltered exposure for Luminance channel.

THe use of these filters has obvioulsy meant the white point is hard (actually impossible) to calibrate as we are simply not seeing the real colours with these filters. But this is a good first attempt I feel.

The real purpose of this filter set is to work more on photometry.

Imaged at the same time as the one shot colour camera image next to this in the gallery. What fun having two scopes, tracking on same mount with two decent cameras!
