Satellite points the way to T Corona Borealis

About this image

A bit of a coincidence as I took this image of the constellation of Corona Borealis in that a satellite trail almost pointed directly at the recurrent nova T CrB (labelled). As I am sure many of you are doing, I keep looking regularly to see if this star has exploded yet but with no joy. I have marked the location of T in the image and the comparison star P which is visual magnitude 8.4 (see BAA chart 025.04). T is still much fainter than this and beyond the limiting magnitude of this photograph. Soon the constellation will be disappearing into the west after sunset.
