About this image

First time for me to use Tycho Tracker. I measured Magnitude 10.3-10.2 (on 13th Sept), estimated coma diameter at about 59000km, and tail radius 1.2 arcminutes.

Tycho is a really capable program and you should be able to get high quality magnitude estimates given the dark skies at your setup in Morocco. Tycho will let you estimate the total magnitude which is quite a bit brighter than the inner coma magnitude that you have measured. There are details of how to do this in the last edition of the Comet's Tale (see the article starting on page 25 here).

Thank you Nick for your guidance. I’ve just begun using Tycho, and hopeful my skills will improve with practice over time.
