About this image

1st attempt to use MLAstro 700 SHG. At the bottom of a very steep learning curve! My first single image was obtained by simply letting the Sun drift across fixed slit. Hence short comings in image, I think the horizontal bands were caused by fleeting passing clouds, but still impressed by JSolex. Chose Magnesium for novelty, shows plage areas similar to Calcium K. (?)
