About this image
This animation of the gas tail of C/2025 A6 shows motion over a period of just over one hour. A blob of gas is moving down the tail away from the head. Each frame of this animation is 20 minutes long and the stack mid-times are separated by 10 minutes. I have a longer sequence from this morning (almost 2.5 hours) but I'll process that later.
I get a total magnitude of 8.0 this morning.

Comments
Here is a longer version of this animation with the satellite trails removed and here is a longer stack processed with a log stretch to show detail in the inner coma.
