Does the Seestar now automatically stack on the comet's offset motion? That makes imaging comets really easy now. Can you get it to do both, i.e. an offset stack and non-offset? If it could do that and then photometrically calibrate the field it would be really useful for getting magnitude estimates of brigher comets.

My procedure from Alt-AZ in 2 steps:

(1) Register Seestar stacks effectively by reference to background star field to eliminate inter-image field rotation. (old program Registar)

(2) Stack these by reference to comet nucleus, the smooth linear star trails provide a good check on the accuracy of this. (Photoshop)
