Loved this combination of 5 layers of distances. Plane, satellite, comet, stars and a couple of faint galaxies (close to the coma) in one shot.

Lemmon's tail is fast-changing, these are 3 frames only, will process the rest later.

Great image. We think of these trails as a modern problem and they are, of course, much worse now, but I'm always reminded of this photo of C/1956 R1 (Arend-Roland) in our archive taken by Reggie Waterfield on 1957 April 24. Imagine guiding for a single 24 minute exposure on film and then finding an aircraft trail over the comet!
